Taylor Swift Parties With Ruby Rose at Las Vegas Nightclub on New Year's Eve While Calvin Harris Performs

 

 

Taylor Swift 's New Year's Eve may have been even more exciting for her partying partner...Ruby Rose.

Wearing matching feathered tiaras, the two danced the night away at the OMNIA nightclub outside Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, where Swift's boyfriend and DJ Calvin Harris performed.

Rose, a DJ herself, had revealed on Twitter in June that Taylor, 26, is her celebrity crush.

"@taylorswift13 is a gateway drug.." she tweeted in April. "I don't know what to. But whatever it is.. She is the gateway drug."

The 29-year-old, whose character famously got involved in a love triangle on Orange Is the New Black, attended the New Year's Eve nightclub bash weeks after she and partner Phoebe Dahl broke up and called off their engagement. The actress was spotted with another woman just before Christmas.

Taylor was seen sipping Champagne and was also joined by the singer's 23-year-old brother, Austin Swift, and her touring partners, the band HAIM.

Rose posted a video of her and Taylor on her Instagram page.

"When @taylorswift looks perfect in a feather tiara and I look wrong.. But HAPPY 2016!!!!!!!" she wrote. Swift also had another reason to celebrate on Thursday: She released her new music video, "Out of the Woods."

Of course, the Kardashians, America’s most famous family, continued their dominance over our national headlines—so much so that earlier this year, a British man even created an app that blocks all mentions of them from your news feed. This year, however, it wasn’t Kim who broke the Internet: The introduction of Caitlyn Jenner in June became the focus of our intense fascination, while Lamar Odom sadly took the top spot because of his continued battle with addiction.

Emmy Award-nominated actress Niecy Nash (SCREAM QUEENS, “Getting On”), celebrity entertainment mogul Perez Hilton, 2012 Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and football legend Emmitt Smith will join the “2015 MISS UNIVERSE®” judging panel, it was announced today by The Miss Universe Organization and FOX. As previously announced, the show will be hosted by Steve Harvey, with live reporting from Roselyn Sanchez. Performers include Seal, The Band Perry and Charlie Puth. The three-hour annual event will air live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Sunday, Dec. 20 (7:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

This year, for the first time ever, fans worldwide will also have a say in who gets crowned MISS UNIVERSE®. With a virtual seat at the judging table, fans can vote on each category and help decide who walks away MISS UNIVERSE® 2015. Viewers will score each contestant on a scale of one to ten in swimsuit, evening gown, and interview.  Miss Colombia, Adriadna Gutierrez, was crowned Miss Universe on Sunday night when host Steve Harvey inadvertently read her name instead of that of the actual pageant winner. Shortly thereafter he returned to the pageant stage to retract his statement. Last year’s Miss Universe then removed the crown from Miss Colombia’s head and placed it on that of Miss Philippines, the new Miss Universe.
